## Our promise

- **Keep your free plan forever.** Sign up while Downread is young and your account is on the Early Adopter plan. That plan stays free for you, for as long as Downread exists.
- **No paid plan in sight.** There is no paid plan today. One may be added later, but only if Downread grows too big to be sustainable without it. Even then, Early Adopters keep what they have.
- **No credit card, ever.** We never ask for payment details. Start reading anonymously, and create a free account whenever you want your feeds kept safe and synced.

Downread is in beta; the limits above may still grow. They will not shrink for Early Adopters. Private storage is the exception: it is kept only while you use Downread, and cleared after 90 days without activity.
